New Year's Transition Practice: Supporting The Coming of the New

Transition is Here. Now.

Washing into the shores of our being.

How can we meet it well?

Now is an auspicious time to practice Oneness.

Here is a suggested practice sequence. Perhaps one of your own will organically respond in your being as you consider these as a template.

Play and enjoy!

First, 108 Gayatri Mantras with your Mala

The Gayatri Mantra first appeared in the Rig Veda (Mandala 3.62.10), an early Vedic text written between 1100 to 1700 BCE. It is stated in the Upanishads as a significant ritual and in the Bhagavad Gita as, the poem of the Divine. It is a belief that chanting Gayatri Mantra firmly establishes the mind and if people carry on his-her life and do the work that is destined , our life will be full of joy and happiness.

Sanskrit: (

Bhur Bhuvah Suvaha Bhoor Bhoo-va Su-va-ha

Tat Savitur Varenyam Tat Sa-vee-toor Var-ayn-yam

Bargo Devasya Dhimahi Bar-go Day-vas-ya Dhee-ma-hee

Dhiyo Yo Nah Prachodayat Dhee-yo Yo Nah Pra-cho-da-yaat

One translation: (

Let us commune with the luminous light of consciousness that sustains all the worlds, that it may inspire our liberation.

Then, A Sitting Contemplation Meditation:

Perhaps have a journal with you.

Sitting comfortably. Deepen the breath.

One at a time, taking a few minutes with each of the following places:

Asking the Mind....then the Heart....then the Soul or Enteric Space (Cave of the Heart):

What do I need to know? What do I need to hear?

Sit as long as your wish in each wisdom space....then journal (or draw) what each space offered you for today.

Perhaps a theme or concept to study for the year will emerge:

What am I to study or notice on a daily basis in 2021?

Perhaps: Connection, or Strength, or Empathy...

Transition is Here. Now. The New washing into the shores of your being.

May the New Year bring wellness, peace and light.
